 Those of you hoping to scam Konami by creating a Japanese Konami ID and downloading the open beta version of the Metal Gear Online beta are out of luck. Seems like Konami has figured out they were getting hit with a lot of fake accounts and have shut it down. Looks like your only option is the MGS4 pre-order bonus disc that comes with a key. For those of you who own a PSP, you may already know that a download was made available for the PSP that allows you to use the PSP as a telephone to make calls to your favorite gamers that also use Skype and for a fee, allows Skype users to make phone calls to normal telephones. You can also use the Skype download to talk trash to other gamers in a game while playing online. Well now there is new headset available for use on the PSP while using Skype to communicate. The new headset will soon be released for use on the PSP slim, at a price of $20.00 and the headset will include a set of earclip headphones with attached microphone and a volume control device on the cord. On March 19th, you'll be able to download 13 stunning new and customizable rides being to Forza Motorsport 2. The game already has more than 340 cars. The sequel (or will it be a prequel??) to blockbuster game Bioshock has been confirmed today in Take-Two Interactive's financial filing released today. No details about the title have been revealed, but it is being developed at 2K Marin studio and is slated for a release sometime between August 1 and October 31, 2009. Here's what the official statement said: "2K Games said today that BioShock 2, the sequel to the wholly owned and internally developed title, is being developed by 2K Marin and is planned for release in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2009. The critically acclaimed BioShock title has sold over 2 million units worldwide since its launch in August."

 If there was ever a reason not to talk SMACK while playing online on the X-360, here it is: Recently as some of you have read in our forums, REVEN4000 posted about his Xbox Live account getting hacked and the HACKER ran up the credit/debit card that he had on file buying 30,000 MicroSoft Points and also threatening that he would be hacking into all of REVEN4000's friends that he had on his friend's list. That right there caught my attention. Then this morning my daughter went onto her Xbox Live account and had recieved a message from someone whom I believe said his name was Baby J or something like that, who said that he had hacked one of her friend's Xbox Live accounts and had taken it over. He also said that this person got hacked for talking SMACK in a game and if anyone else were to reply talking SMACK that he would do the same to their account, therefore I deleted that friend from her list. The hacked account's gamertag was Ltc Lonewolf, and the HACKER had already changed the gamertag and began his hacking spree on the info stored on his Xbox 360. If any of you should get a similar message from someone claiming to have hacked a friend's Xbox Live account, DO NOT REPLY... delete that friend from your friend's list IMMEDIATELY!!!!  This happened about a year ago, although I knew nobody that it had happened to. Xbox wasn't even alerting members to this at that time. I found out through one of the sites that I visit for news and as soon as I found out about it, I posted news on this page about it. I will be calling a friend of mine that works there and asking him what we can do as Xbox Live users, to safe-guard our accounts, or at least our account information. I know that last year I was told by him to tell people to *1*Call 1-800-469-9269 (1800-4MY-XBOX) and speak to a Live operator and have them set up a password for your account which will be needed to access your account and make any purchases using your credit/debit information. I don't know if this will prevent anyone from hacking you and taking your credit/debit card information and using it elsewhere other than for MS products, but at the least it will prevent any MS purchases using your credit/debit info. I urge everyone to start by setting up a password for your Xbox Live account to prevent any MS purchases. I also URGE everyone not to talk SMACK to people in an Xbox Live room that you do not know personally. My presonal suggestion for now until this problem has been contained, is to PLAY WITH FRIENDS ONLY. I know that it is a blast to play with random people, but right now we ALL ARE AT RISK from these HACKERS. I I have any information on how to further safeguard our Xbox Live accounts after speaking to Xbox Live, I will update this news post, but for now PLEASE follow my suggestions and play with friends only and if you are in a public room DON'T TALK SMACK TO PEOPLE YOU DON'T KNOW!!!!

What an intense, behind the scenes look at this game. Here is the latest video of Star Wars "The Force Unleashed". Hit the play button and check it out!!!! There is some game footage shown in this video that was not seen in the first trailer that we got over a year ago, but this video is more of an explanation of what makes this game work, the different technologies used to create and run this game. The technology used in this game is groundbreaking, intensely functional, and I am sure that it will impress anyone that sees this video. It does also give details about the shockingly powerful -new- force powers which are much more explosive than any of force powers in previous Star Wars games (when the Jedi were available for play). This game is set in the era between Revenge Of The Sith, and Star Wars A New Hope where you play as Darth Vader's secret apprentice. I really can't say enough about this video, the game itself, and the technolgy behind it. All I can say is that even if you were never a big fan of the Star Wars franchise video games, I am sure that this game will pique your interest and you will consider at least renting this for a week or two (or three or even four) nevermind buying it. I know that as soon as they are taking pre-order deposits, I will be slapping my cash down and putting my name on a copy. Star Wars "The Force Unleashed" will hit the stores sometime this summer (2008). No definitive date has been set yet but as soon as they give us that information you can bet that I will update all of you. "May the Force be with you". P.S. Hey Ruin.....Hows about setting up good ol' Forz with an early release copy when they get delivered to your store? I won't tell anyone, I promise. . . LOL

Someone at GameStop.com made an OOOPPPSSSS!! It seems that they weren't supposed to pass this information, or at least the picture, onto us consumers yet, but they did and I caught it as did other watchful eyes. Anyways, the oops!! was about a new accessory package for the game "Rock Band". The new pack will include a smoke and light show for your gear so you can ROCK out like the big guys/gals of rock-n-roll. This package is going to run you $99.00 and is being shipped on June 23, according to the manufacturer. If I were at all musically inclined, I would pick up this package myself, but I'm not so I'll just have to wait for the video that you people shoot and post of your jam sessions, smoke and lights!!!! I do think that the smoke and light show will intensify the experience of this already ROCKIN' game. Heck, inclined or not, I may have to pick up the whole package when the new accessories come out. Anyways, I have the picture that GameStop.com was not supposed to put up (shortly after realizing this mistake, they took the picture down) and here it is. ROCK ON!!!!!!

 Solo Competition - Rumble Pit Do you want to prove that you are the best at Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare? Then SonicArmy.com has the competition for you! Let me fill you in a little. It was announced just the other day that Skype will soon be a free download to the PSP. Question number one from some of you may be: "What the heck is Skype?" Well, I'll answer that for you as simply as I can. "Skype lets you make free calls over the internet to anyone else who also has the service. It's free and easy to download and use, and it works with most computers. Skype offers free global telephony and unlimited voice calls with its next-generation peer-to-peer software."   Question number two (which I really hope that noone is asking, but I'll go ahead and throw it out there): "What is a PSP (A.K.A PlayStation Portable)?": Here goes a shot at answering that question for those of you who need it to be answered- "A handheld unit manufactured and sold by Sony Computer Entertainment of America that is used for playing video games and movies created specifically for said unit."  Now using simple mathematics we are going to add: PSP+Skype= A portable handheld gaming device from which to play movies/games, and to also make phone calls from (to other Skype users) or trash talk in the game (also with other Skype users).  Add those two together and this is what you get...  Here's the word on this, in the tech world: "Sony's all for loading multimedia functions onto their consoles (portable or otherwise) to add value, so the addition of VoIP via Skype is something we can definitely see them doing. The feature's listed on Sony's CES site, along with internet radio and a few other features we already know about, like Remote Play.  The bringer of all that is Call of Duty 4 news, Fourzerotwo has made a post on the official Xbox forums letting us in on an update/patch that will be coming sometime this month. New playlists like a Team Deathmatch that doesn’t allow you to be in the same party as another person, so every team you play with is random….. now who requested this as a playlist?. Lots of maps added to Domination and Headquarters mainly, but other playlists as well. “Oldcore” playlist has been removed, as well as Team Objective (I am sad to see that one go). Other little improvements have been made even behind the scenes on how the game handle hosts, and… I honestly could go on and on, but for an already near perfect game imo, they come in with the free patch/update to fix things I wouldn’t have even thought needed fixing, check after the break for the full list: Hey Everyone – I wanted to give you the heads up on a lot of cool changes coming to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare multiplayer in the month of December. Before you ask, there is no ETA on these changes, most are included in the upcoming patch, with all the playlists stuff happening independently at some point in the near future.
